A photo album of images of Chauvigny French limestone from quarry to finished floors and cladding.

Chauvigny is a hardwearing limestone that is frost resistant with an excellent track record.

The stone has a pale, uniform background colour with little or no visible fossils or veining. It works very well where a white or off-white plain cladding or flooring is specified.

This French limestone is quarried in south west France and is ideal for:-

  • cladding
  • ashlar
  • external flooring
  • internal flooring – residential and commercial
  • staircases
  • fire surrounds

If you are interested in using Chauvigny limestone in your project, please get in touch. For larger projects, we would recommend a visit to the quarry and the factory so that you can fully understand the nature of the stone.
